BetterWorld was out with the wonderful people of Earth Policy Institute (EPI) last week. BetterWorld has collaborated with EPI on webinars, donated to them and currently proudly serves them as member of our customer family. EPI was founded by the former president of the Worldwatch Institute and renowned environmentalist thoughtleaders, Lester Brown. EPI works to provide a global level plan for a sustainable future and move towards a Plan B economy.
EPI publishes books on an ongoing basis with information to guide the process of change and plan for a sustainable future.
The Washington Post called Lester Brown “one of the world's most influential thinkers.” The Telegraph of Calcutta refers to him as “the guru of the environmental movement.” In 1986, the Library of Congress requested his personal papers noting that his writings “have already strongly affected thinking about problems of world population and resources.”
His most recent book is World on the Edge: How to Prevent Environmental and Economic Collapse, which the Financial Times called “a provocative primer on some of the key global issues that businesses will face in the coming decades.”
