President Barack Obama said in his State of the Union address that the US needs to out-innovate, out-build, and out-educate the rest of the world. To that end, members of the administration have been traveling around the country to meet up with business leaders in roundtable discussions and learn how best to support them.
BetterWorld is honored to be a part of one of these discussions as a member of the Silicon Valley Leadership Group roundtable in Palo Alto, CA today. This event brings business and government together to share information with one another. The discussion will include the resources the Administration already provides to help businesses compete and create jobs, as well as details from the businesses in Silicon Valley about what they need in order to grow.
The Silicon Valley Leadership Group was founded in 1977 by David Packard. Since that time SVLG has grown to become the largest organization of its kind in Silicon Valley and has more than 300 member companies. SVLG members contribute more than $1 trillion to the global economy.
