Our team is abuzz this week with the news of our new partnership with the Social Enterprise Alliance (SEA). SEA represents the largest network of social enterprises in North America and the leading membership organization in North America for social enterprises, service providers, nonprofit organizations, corporations, and venture capitalists that is actively building the field of social enterprise through networking opportunities, educational forums, strategic partnerships, and impact legislation.
BetterWorld will be serving SEA through the SEA Corporate Connect Program. Through SEA’s CCP, we will connect together with leading social enterprises and other key stakeholders building the field of social enterprise in North America and will seek to to bring the benefits of working with BetterWorld to this audience. We will also bring forward our BetterWork concepts, along the lines of our recent stimulus award from the NTIA, to help create jobs, spur economic growth and reduce environmental impacts.
SEA will facilitate introductions to leaders in service sector organizations supporting social enterprise, corporations sourcing from social enterprise, university and government partners as well as to the leading social entrepreneurs in each region. This will be done primarily through the Social Enterprise Alliance Chapters which are located in the Bay Area, Los Angeles, the Twin Cities, Dallas, Chicago, Nashville, Massachusetts, Maryland, and Tampa Bay. Another chapter is poised to launch before the end of the year in Colorado.
We look forward to building a successful and long term partnership with SEA – for more information on SEA, click here.
In service,
Robin
