Last week we had the fortune of presenting the BetterWork framework to most of the staff at NetImpact in San Francisco. We had a great discussion about the nature of work and changing how we work can cut the carbon output of America by 50% in the coming decades. With NetImpact really serving as the training ground for our next generation of sustainable leaders and hopefully helping to produce the first generation that elevates environmental and social responsibility to the top of our list of priorities, we were so encouraged by the amazing questions and dialogue that ensued during our time with the NetImpact staff.
We are looking forward participating in the upcoming NetImpact 2010 Conference: Vision for a Sustainable Decade, which will be held at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, this coming October 28-30th.
Net Impact is an international nonprofit organization with a mission to inspire, educate, and equip individuals to use the power of business to create a more socially and environmentally sustainable world.
Spanning six continents, our membership makes up one of the most influential networks of professionals and students in existence today. Net Impact members are current and emerging leaders in CSR, social entrepreneurship, nonprofit management, international development, and environmental sustainability who are actively improving the world.
We look forward to many more collaborations and positive journeys with NetImpact – for more information on NI and the conference, click here.
In service,
Matt
