Our Visit with the World Wildlife Fund

December 21, 2009

Late last week, we had the fortune to meet with Emily Malatesta Kelton (Director, Corporate Relations) and Sheri Willoughby (Senior Program Officer Business and Industry) at World Wildlife Fund headquarters in Washington, D.C.   As one learns more about WWF, you can’t help be struck by the size and scope of their impact, which is truly felt in just about every corner of the world today.

With their stated goal to “build a future where people live in harmony with nature”, WWF has been working over 45 years to change the world in a myriad of ways. The are the world’s leading conservation organization, with operations and impact in 100 countries and supported by 1.2 million members in the U.S. and almost 5 million globally. WWF’s unique way of working combines global reach with a foundation in science, involves action at every level from local to global, and ensures the delivery of innovative solutions that meet the needs of both people and nature.

We look forward to exploring how we can work with WWF in the coming months and years especially in their Climate Savers program, as a potential donation partner of BetterWorld, their Earth Hour program and general corporate/industry activities. Thanks so much to Sheri and Emily for all their guidance and help so far, we look forwad to doing some great things together in 2010!  For more information on WWF – www.wwf.org

In service,

Matt
