West Coast Green was the place to be last Thursday through Saturday, and Matt and I were sure to be there. We connect with many current and met many new friends, partners, and customers at the largest conference on green innovation for the built environment.
Held at the Fort Mason Center in San Francisco, 14,000 thought leaders and forward thinkers convened to engage in dynamic, big-picture, systems-thinking to reinvent business, laugh, make connections, affect policy, and create meaningful and lasting positive change. Keynote speakers included Professor Dan Kammen from UC Berkeley, Ray Anderson of Interface, Andrew Winston of Winston Eco-Strategies, Cameron Sinclair from Architecture for Humanity, and Bill Reed from Integrative Design Collective.
Customer and partner, Sustainable Industries held a brilliant series of conversations with leading thinkers, pioneers, and legends as part of the daily offerings. Then Friday night, in the San Francisco bay at sunset, they hosted a very cool party aboard the Hornblower Hybrid, the nation’s first hybrid ferry that uses energy from solar, wind, grid electric, and Tier 2 diesel generators to power the vessel.
Hope to see you there next year,
Jacob
