When you walk in the Easter Seals’ Chicago headquarters, you are greeted with an amazing quote from Easter Seals’ founder Edgar Allen – “ Your life and mine shall be valued not by what we take…but by what we give.”
With roots back to the early 1900s, Easter Seals has been giving and giving, helping individuals with disabilities and special needs, and their families, live better lives. From child development centers to physical rehabilitation and job training for people with disabilities, Easter Seals offers a variety of services to help people with disabilities address life’s challenges and achieve personal goals.
Easter Seals offers help, hope and answers to more than a million children and adults living with autism and other disabilities or special needs and their families each year. Services and support are provided through a network of more than 550 sites in the U.S. and through Ability First Australia.
We are proud to count Easter Seals as a new BetterWorld customer and want to give a BetterWorld shout out to John Jordan for his work with us so far and taking the time to teach us more about Easter Seals and show us around last week at the Easter Seals’ Sears Tower offices (yes, the Sears Tower has been renamed the Willis Tower, but Chicagoans have vowed to never change).
