With a mission to tech up non-profits around the world, TechSoup is clearly delivering: From June 2007 to June 2008 the retail value of their technology product donations distributed came to a whopping $312M, while saving social benefit organizations $296M through the distribution of 901,000 products. That my friends’s IMPACT.
Jacob and I had the pleasure of visiting with TechSoup Global this past week, talking about ways we can join forces on our Sustainable Telecom project and their upcoming campaign focused on reducing travel through communications technologies. A big shout out to Anna Jaeger (Director, GreenTech Program), Jim Lynch (Computer Recycling & Reuse Development Director) and Maryline Daviaud Lewett (Director of Business Development) who met with us, we are so excited to begin exploring ways we can work together.
