Jay, Jacob and I were fortunate late last week to attend our first Sustainable Business Alliance monthly luncheon in Oakland and get to see some old friends and meet many new ones as well. BetterWorld is now a member of SBA and is exploring more ways we can become involved in the coming months with this great organization.
With over 250 members in the Bay Area, SBA is a BALLE member (which we love of course) and is a membership organization for companies committed to greater environmental and socially responsible business practices. Much thanks to Mark McLeod, SBA Executive Director for facilitating our visit and to all those who we met. As we came out of the event, the Friday afternoon Oakland market was just wrapping up, but we were able to snap a few choice photos in the mix (above). Looking forward to doing some great things with SBA in ‘09!
