Once again, hundreds of leaders from the green movement descended upon San Francisco for the annual Green Business Conference, which leads into the SF Green Festival every year. Hundreds packed the conference and dozens of esteemed leaders from all over the country spoke about best practices of growing and greening businesses. Laurie Demeritt talked about the new report on the State of the Green Marketplace from The Hartman Group.
Also highlighted was the The Carbon Concierge, a project of Bainbridge Graduate Institute. They will learn valuable marketing and financing strategies from successful and experienced business leaders. All participants will have structured networking to meet and build connections with other business owners to form synergies and grow together.
Sundance Channel’s The Green host Simran Sethi, delivered the keynote on Telling the Stories of Green Businesses. She spoke about her involvement in the conference, “I believe that the Green Business Conference is the forum where we inspire and conspire, where we find inspiration from a strong green business community and conspire to create a more sustainable future.”
BetterWorld’s Jim Kenefick highlighted a couple of sessions on the importance of executive coaches and executive leadership dynamics, as well as financial dynamics for green businesses.
Sincerely Green – Matt
