Late last week the team helped take over the kitchens at Food and Friends in Northeast DC – check out Glenn above donning the apron and showing off his culinary prowess. As always, we get more from our work with F&Fs than we put in, what a truly amazing organization.
We’ve decided to ramp up our volunteer commitment and instead of just taking our own team each month to work with the Nature Conservancy, Food and Friends, etc. – we are going to be sending the schedule/time/place to our customers and partners and including them in the process, in an attempt to significantly expand our efforts. In addition, we are going to target organizations and volunteer days in other cities outside of the DC region in other communities where we work such as San Francisco (look for us in November), Seattle and Chicago, both next spring.
